About GlioState
Editorial team
GlioState Editorial Team — an anonymous editorial team. The site is edited from a neuro-oncology perspective, with a focus on glioblastoma, tumor cell states and how AI virtual cell models might describe them.
He writes and reviews all GlioState reviews and summaries. Clinical commentary sections are written by him personally and are marked as such.
The name
GlioState refers to glioma cell states — for example the four malignant states described by Neftel et al. (2019) in glioblastoma (MES-like, NPC-like, OPC-like, AC-like) and the plasticity between them. The hub follows how AI virtual cell models may help describe and predict such states across brain and spinal cord tumors.
Editorial policy
- Every item is verified against PubMed, Europe PMC or Crossref (papers, preprints) or against the official page (models, datasets, news, conferences). The verification source is shown on each card’s badge.
- Items that could only be partly verified are labelled “Partly verified”; unconfirmed conference dates are labelled as such.
- Summaries are one-line editorial descriptions, reviewed by the editor. Preprints are not peer reviewed and are labelled as preprints.
- Critiques and negative results are included alongside claims. No sponsored content, no testimonials, no trackers.
- The library is updated weekly; corrections are welcome.
